Abundance
To understand why passion is so closely connected to the abundance you can experience and enjoy in your life, it 's essential to describe what abundance actually is:
Simply stated: To live an abundant life is to have an ample supply of whatever you determine is good in your life. In other words, those things and experiences which you have acknowledged bring you joy and fulfillment.
This may sound similar to the description I used in my article on prosperity but I'm going to give you a bit of insight into why there is a difference between being prosperous and having abundance in your life.
Where prosperity is the outer manifestation of what is good...love, money, materials objects, etc., abundance refers to the infrastructure which enables you to create it and sustain it. Without this infrastructure in place you will see those things in your life which you hold out as examples of your prosperity quickly diminish and dissolve away.
Ever heard those old sayings, "here today, gone tomorrow" or "easy come, easy go"?
You might think that they refer to how you can have money or things and relationships just seemingly melt away..."Slip through your fingers". Those sayings actually refer to a very real phenomenon. One which takes place whenever you don't have the proper infrastructure already in place to attract, nurture and sustain abundance.
Without it, things will seem to just slip through your fingers, be here today and be gone tomorrow.
Easy come and easy go is a very real situation for many people. A phenomenon they have to contend with again and again. Not understanding that an infrastructure which acts to insure your abundance must first be created and in place. Or what you think is prosperity may simply dissolve into nothing.
The infrastructure necessary to support ongoing abundance is comprised of the following:
1. Personal agenda and intent.
2. Attitudes, opinions and beliefs.
3. Pathways or channels in which possibilities can transform themselves into opportunities.
Personal agenda and intent
Think of your personal agenda and intent as your current degree of self-honesty and desire for good in your life. This could be measured anywhere from total dishonesty and the subsequent desire for self-agrandisement (sociopathic narcissism) - to being completely honest and seeking only what is really good for you and others.
Obviously, there are infinite possibilities and combinations which will combine to equate your personal agenda and intent regarding any specific situation. You must understand that where ever that point may be, it will determine certain possibilities and probable outcomes.
Attitudes, opinions and beliefs
The same possibilities and outcomes are also affected by your attitudes, opinions and beliefs. Ironically they determine what you accept as possible and probable. Your attitudes, opinions and beliefs are an active filter which discards anything which does not fit it's world view.
It doesn't matter what the possibilities are. If your attitudes, opinions and beliefs don't the support the likely hood that the possibility fits into your world view, you are not going to embrace it as something that is real to you.
Pathways and channels
These are the various relationships which comprise your current reality. These are the means by which opportunities make themselves available to you. When you combine all three aspects of infrastructure you can begin to see that without your personal agenda, intent, attitudes, opinions, beliefs, pathways and channels working together to insure your prosperity is secure and ongoing...
It would be possible for easy come, easy go and here today, gone tomorrow to be a very real problem in your life.
When was the last time you examined the various components of your infrastructure? Prosperity an abundance does not happen by accident nor is it the result of luck.
The day you run out of excuses
is the day your life changes...
